We supply everything you need to host your murder mystery event. Even if you've never attended a murder mystery event before, you will find it simple to host your event. We will even provide costume suggestions, name tags, menu ideas, winners' certificates and, naturally, full game rules, clues and character information.
Plan your murder mystery in good time - we need at least 9 weeks to prepare your plot, and you'll want to receive your paperwork in good time to issue invitations and to allow your guests to arrange costumes. We suggest you send out invitations at least three weeks before the event - preferably further in advance.
Think about the venue, which can add character to your murder mystery party. If you have a specific venue in mind, let us know and we can write a plot around this.
Allow time on the evening to set up before your guests are due to arrive - there may be a crime scene to arrange, or clues to hide - full instructions will be in your host's guide.
Some props may be useful, such as a fake knife or gun so try to obtain these before the event. Details of suggested props and where to obtain them will be contained in your host's guide.

Encourage your guests to come in character. Full details of costume recommendations will be in your host's guide and guest invitations.
Think about your guests - if we know a bit about them, we can write appropriate characters for them. But don't worry, your guests won't have to do anything silly or embarrassing - unless you want them to! By letting us know which of your guests would like a starring role and which would prefer to take a back seat, your guests will be happier.
Do make sure your guests understand they need to arrive at the venue in good time - there's nothing worse than a guest bowling up late, or not turning up at all after a role has been written for them. Your plot will give you tips, however, on what to do should someone unavoidably pull out at the last moment.
Most important of all - enjoy the evening!
